Kitchen Renovation on Lansford Road
This kitchen remodeling project in Ballantyne, Charlotte NC features a full-height quartz backsplash, ogee edge countertops, checkered flooring, and updated lighting. The layout was redesigned to improve functionality and create a more open, refined space for everyday living.
Project Overview
This space started off feeling outdated, closed-in, and smaller than it needed to be. Our client wanted a kitchen that felt open, elevated, and functional without sacrificing storage.
We removed select wall cabinets to visually open up the space, instantly making the kitchen feel larger and more breathable. To balance that out, we added full pantry cabinetry, ensuring no storage was lost just redistributed smarter.
To elevate the design, we ran the cabinetry all the way to the ceiling with stacked upper cabinets. This not only creates a true luxury, custom look, but also eliminates dust-collecting gaps that are common in standard kitchens. We finished the stacked cabinets with glass fronts, giving the client a beautiful space to display their favorite pieces.
The final touch: under-cabinet lighting for daily function, plus interior cabinet lighting inside the glass uppers to make those displayed items glow. The result? A kitchen that feels brighter, larger, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail.
